ABC Salesbot uses a transparent, usage-based billing system designed to grow with your business. This guide explains how billing works, what you pay for, and how to manage your account.
How Billing Works
Annual Allowance
Every company receives 36,000 free messages per year as part of their subscription. This allowance:
- Resets annually on your billing anniversary date
- Unused messages roll over to the next year (they don't expire!)
- Only counts outbound messages sent by AI agents and human team members to customers
- Does not count incoming messages from customers
Pay-Per-Message
Once you've used your annual allowance, additional messages cost $0.025 USD each (2.5 cents per message). These are charged against your credit balance.
What Messages Are Billed?
Billed Messages:
- Messages sent by your AI agents to customers
- Messages sent by human team members to customers
- Automated responses and notifications
- Follow-up messages in automations
Free Messages:
- Incoming messages from customers
- Internal system notifications
Billing Cycle
Your billing cycle starts on the day you activated your subscription. Key dates include:
- Billing Start Date: When your annual allowance begins
- Anniversary Date: When unused messages roll over and allowance resets
- Subscription Renewal: Monthly or annual subscription charges
Managing Your Billing
View Usage & Balance
Monitor your account usage in real-time:
- Visit
/billing/usageor go to User Menu → Usage - View your current message usage
- Check remaining allowance and credit balance
- See usage history and trends
Top Up Credits
Add credits to your account anytime:
- Visit
/billing/usageor go to User Menu → Usage - Enter the amount you want to add
- Complete secure payment via Stripe
- Credits are added instantly to your account
Payment Methods
Manage your payment methods easily:
- Add multiple credit/debit cards
- Set a default payment method
- Update billing information
- Remove old payment methods
Alerts & Notifications
Stay informed about your usage with automatic alerts:
Usage Threshold Alert
Get notified when you've used 90% of your annual allowance, helping you plan for additional message needs.
Low Balance Alert
Receive email notifications when your credit balance drops below $10 USD, giving you time to top up before running out.
Subscription Management
Viewing Subscription Details
See your subscription information including:
- Current plan and features
- Next billing date
- Payment method on file
- Subscription status
Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You keep access to all features until the period ends
- Your data is preserved for 30 days after cancellation
- You can reactivate anytime during this period

Q: What happens to unused messages at the end of the year? A: Unused messages from your annual allowance automatically roll over to the next year. They never expire!
Q: Can I get a refund on credits? A: Credits are non-refundable, but they never expire and can be used at any time.
Q: How do I see my billing history? A: Visit /billing/usage or go to User Menu → Usage → History to view all past charges, top-ups, and usage.
Q: What payment methods do you accept? A: We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe's secure payment processing.
Q: Can I change my billing date? A: Your billing anniversary is set when you first subscribe and cannot be changed. However, you can contact support for special circumstances.
