SMS Messaging Channel

Integrate SMS messaging through Twilio with ABC Salesbot.

Overview

SMS messaging allows you to send text messages directly to your leads. ABC Salesbot integrates with Twilio to provide SMS functionality.

Setup Process:

1. Twilio Account Setup:

   • Sign up for a Twilio account if you haven't already.
   • Obtain the following credentials:
     • Twilio Account SID
     • Twilio Auth Token
     • Twilio Phone SID
     • Twilio Phone Number

2. Configuring ABC Salesbot:

   • In ABC Salesbot, go to the messaging channels page.
   • Click on Add Messaging Channel and select SMS Messaging Channel.
   • Enter your Twilio credentials as prompted:
     • Twilio Account SID
     • Twilio Auth Token
     • Twilio Phone SID
     • Twilio Phone Number
   • Verify your credentials to connect the SMS channel.

Best Practices:

• Securely store your Twilio credentials and do not share them.
• Test your integration to ensure that leads can receive and reply to SMS messages.
• Monitor usage and costs in your Twilio dashboard.

Troubleshooting:

• Ensure that all credentials are entered correctly.
• Verify that your Twilio account is active and has sufficient balance.
